All about Honeymoon in Kerala

Kerala, the Honeymooner’s Paradise is all time favorite honeymoon destination among newly wedded couples. The place is endowed with tons of tourist attraction spots. Hill stations: Hill stations of Munnar, Nelliampathi, Ponmudi, Devikulam, Kovalambith, Peermade and Wayanad are mostly visited. The climate of these hill stations is always pleasant and they serve as base for trekking and hiking.

National Parks & Sanctuary: Wayanad Sanctuary, Chinnar, Periyar Sanctuary and Eravikulam National Park are the famous national park of Kerala. Almost a fourth of India’s 10,000 plant species are found in the state. These national parks are home of many rare, unique and endangered species of animals. In Periyar, there is a temple namely, Sabarimala, which is visited by about 4 million pilgrims annually. A boat cruise on Periyar Lake of Thekkady located in Periyar Wildlife Reserve is quite famous.

Temples and Churches of Kerala: Sabarimala Temple, Chettikulangara Temple, Vadakumnathan Temple, Guruvayoor Temple are some popular temple in the stae. Malayattor Church and Parumala Church are two churches in Keral. These places are also visited by the religious couples.

Heritage of Kerala: Heritage sites, such as the Padmanabhapuram Palace and the Mattancherry Palace, Thazhathangady Juma Masjid is also called as the “Taj Juma Masjid”, are also visited.
