The very idea of a tropical holiday seems pretty exciting and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands fit into it perfectly. It wasn’t until recently that the islands were known to the rest of the world and this keeps it secluded and completely refreshing. The unpolluted greens and pristine waters make it a heaven for naturalists and all who wish to enjoy a rejuvenating holiday. While tourists can enjoy a marine life surfing ride in a glass bottom boat, the more adventurous souls can go for snorkeling and scuba diving. Apart from this, the islands offer a lot more adventure and sporting opportunities. The Water Sports Complex is the best place to try out some exciting rides. Water scooters, speedboats and parasailing options are easily available here.

Apart from its exciting aquatic life and water-bound adventure options, Andaman & Nicobar Islands also offer a good number of other attractions too. The Chatham Saw Mill is an attraction itself for being the largest saw mill in Asia. The Samudrika Museum and Fisheries Museum are good places to check out rare aquatic species. The Marina Park close to the Water Sports Complex offers some good amusement rides, meant for adults and kids alike. The Gandhi Park too is a nice amusement arena. Its offers exciting amusement rides, thrilling water sports and refreshing nature trails. Remains of a historic Japanese Temple make the place interesting for history lovers too.

Most of the best known shopping arenas and eating out places in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands are concentrated in Port Blair. Being the capital of this Union territory of India, Port Blair is naturally home to most of the government offices and administrative headquarters. The Port Blair airport makes it the access point to the entire islands too.
